With over 125 Years of Tradition at our Suburban Farm near Winfield, Sonny Acres Farm is your ideal spot to spend the day and evening with your family. From a stroll through our beautiful property and a stop at the self-feed zoo to an evening of fright and delight at the Fall Festival, there is always fun happening at Sonny Acres Farm. Our farm holds a history of multi-generational tradition (Since 1883) and is now lovingly cared for by the Joyaux and Fontana families. We are making updates and upgrades to the farm to keep it going strong for decades to come while ensuring that the charm and history remain. Parking is free!

In addition to our existing on-site locations at Sonny Acres Farm, we are excited to announce that we will soon be offering a new location for your next event. The Barn on North is our beautiful, spacious, indoor venue and will be available for bookings soon for people who live in nearby Winfield and the surrounding Chicagoland area!

As the colors on the trees turn, enjoy the Fall Fest at Sonny Acres farm. Ride on our festival hayrides, experience our haunted barn, meander through the pumpkins, and savor our seasonal treats. If you want to bring some of the Fall Fest home, you can shop at our store for farm fresh (seasonal) produce, tasty apple cider donuts or carmelly taffy apple.
When the holidays arrive, you won’t want to miss our Christmas celebrations. We decorate the farm top to bottom in twinkling lights and Christmas décor, so there are tons of photo-ops for the entire family. Our holiday market has something for everyone, and a photo with Santa (please schedule your visit with Santa in advance) can’t be missed.
